Der Schnee ist schon ganz prima! Und sehr gut für die Natur. Die Schneedecke isoliert und schützt. Und dem Futterhaus macht es auch nichts aus.
Bienenstöcke können auch einschneien, das ist aber auch garnicht mal schlecht. Die Wärme der Bienen lässt dann die Innenseite der Schneedecke schmelzen, somit entsteht zusätzlich zur Schneeisolierung noch eine Luftschicht, die ebenfalls wärmer bleibt als die Umgebungsluft und ausserdem Sauerstoff ranlässt.
The snow is really great! And very good for nature. The snow cover insulates and protects. And the bird feeder is taking the weight.
Beehives can also be snowed in, but that’s not a problem at all. The bees’ warmth can melt the inside of the snow cover, creating an air layer in addition to the snow insulation. It remains warmer than the surrounding air and also allows oxygen to enter.
